Here’s what you need to know: New versions of FileMaker will be released more frequently starting in 2020. With the adoption of an automatic upgrade system, this should be less of a hassle than upgrades in the past.Claris is moving to 64-bit only, so the 32-bit version of FileMaker will no longer be available. This will affect some customers that have integrated FileMaker with Outlook for sending emails.Claris will only support a FileMaker version for two years. AppWorks will follow this support plan will support current versions, which means we support FileMaker 18, 17, and 16. AppWorks would like to encourage our customers to stay current for better security and reliability. If you are running an earlier version, please contact us for assistance upgrading.Related to the items above, future versions of FileMaker will only run on recent versions of MacOSX and Windows.
